Elvis Presley Heartbreak Hotel
Written by Mae Axton and Tommy Durden. Elvis recorded it January 10, 1956. It was the second song he recorded for RCA. It was #1 on the Country Best Seller chart for 17 weeks, the Country Juke Box chart for 13 weeks, the Country Disc Jockey chart for 12 weeks and it reached #5 on the rhythm & blues chart. It was Elvis’s first million seller and the second record in history to reach all three Billboard charts (the first was Carl Perkins’s Blue Suede Shoes). It was on the top 100 chart for a total of 27 weeks. Billboard listed it as the number one single of 1956. It was the A-side to I Was The One. This live version was recorded live in Las Vegas, May 6, 1956, and is available on Live in Las Vegas Box Set.

My brother participated in the Rock and Roll Fanasty Camp in Las Vegas. The concert was played at the joint and his mentor was Chris Slade (former drummer from AC/DC)my brother is the lead guitar (left side of stage) he is 14 years old. The drummers name is Charlie and he is 13 years old (don’t know his last name) the guitar solo and the microphone at the end sound a little faded. I will be posting (as soon as I get it) the video that the company filmed which has the whole performance of the opening act. This is just 2/3 of my brothers opening act. Songs they performed where “We will rock you” by Queen and “Crazy Train” by Ozzy Osbourne. The third song they performed (not in this video) is “You really got me” by Van Halen.

Hey ,we are Tokio Hotel.
Bill: We are starting with the first part with the quads and playing paintball for the first time in Las Vegas. We did a concert there and had a bit of free time. I have to say, it hurt quite a bit. At any case the paintball game, we underestimated it a bit.
Tom: I didnt get hit by any bullets though. But the others did anyways..
Georg: where did your spots came from then?
Tom: it hurt!
Bill: anyways, it did hurt, I think you can see it in the DVD. We all got hit, and I was the winner, I was on the winning team. My team did it the best. But most of the time we played together.
Have fun watching!
Tom: We are now going to ride quads in the desert outside of Las Vegas.
That is the plan.
Georg: When the quads are as awesome as the cars they drive here, then all will be right!
Tom: Right!
I always wanted to ride motorcross, always, if I had not become what I am now, I would be a motorcrosser.
Bil: that was so awesome, you can not imagine it. I am totally dirty, all I can taste is sand. I think I ate some sand. It was awesome.
THTV-guy: where are you going now?
Tom: we are going to the VMAs. we have our outfits inhere.
Bill: no, we are now going to play paintball.
Georg: I think we are giving up all our rights, in case something happens. We can not sue anyone or something like that.
Bill: people, that vest is so thin, it wont protect at all.
Bill: people , I am scared.
Georg: we have to hide ourselves here.
Tom: yeah, wahoo.
Tom: you got hit as well.
Bill: where?
Tom: it is on your hand now.
Bill: I didnt even notice.
Tom: we are the best!
Bill: this is insane!
Thtvguy: did you get hit?
Bill: yeah, on my arm.
