    nice job!! As one who used to live in Las Vegas in the 90s, I can appreciate all these hotels…notice how many of them are now gone! I really fell in love with the city, and have visited a lot even after I left it in 1998…check out my videos here on YouTube, I have a lot of Vegas footage here, including some from 1992!!

    I know pics with the mirrorglassed Hotels are very rare today. The 1997 - 2000 version looks also good.

    Also–nice pics of the Desert Inn with its mirrored-glass exterior…only 5 years later (1997) the hotel went thru a 200 million dollar renovation and added another small tower–only to be closed in 2000 for good. Two separate implosions in 2001 and 2004 erased Desert Inn to make way for Wynn Las Vegas and Encore….200 million dusted–for less than FOUR years of use….

    Excellent!…this is the way I remember Vegas from my time here in 1990-92…..the final days of “old” Vegas before the mega-resorts took over…the neon was fantastic then….especially the Dunes and Stardust…
