The venetian has a good deal to,, 150 119 each additional night $50 each stay casino money

I stayed at the Venetian in April, going back next year same time. This is for a convention and I stayed 7 nights.

Venetian has a perfect location more or less in the middle of the strip. Treasure Island and Wynn are close but with a few minutes walking you reach several other casinos. Also nearby is a shopping arcade.

I loved Venetian, it’s a small city

When you check-in, be sure to get the renovated rooms with flat screen TVs. Read my review on Tripadvisor where this is further explained:

So my fiancee and I are having a destination wedding in Las Vegas in June.

I've been reading about destination weddings and how the bride & groom sometimes block out rooms in hotels for their guests, arrange transportation, make out maps and many other little things.

Is it expected that you do room blocks at a hotel for a destination wedding? Majority of our guests that we invited all have time share in Las Vegas and so I didn't see the point in blocking out rooms or why we would even have to.

Some of our guests have asked where we were stying and I've done searching for them to help them find the best deal on a room in the area they want.

All of them have been to Vegas so I'm not sure maps and all that are necessary. Though I will be printing maps to the ceremony and reception sites.

Is there anything anyone recommends be done for a destination wedding? If you were attending would there be anything that would help you out?
actually they are all THAT familiar with Las Vegas. Like I said the maps I will be making are for directions to the ceremony and the reception.

his side goes a few times a year and my side use to live out there so that is why were all pretty familiar with the layout. We all only live 4 hours away =-)
blocking out rooms requires a contract and we aren't about to do that. if they don't book all the rooms we end up holding the bag and we can not afford that in anyway shape or form, and besides why should we?

I live in Vegas, and I'm marrying here in October. You gave a great answer to one of MY questions, thanks. I'm not sure how many guests need putting up, but my mother's renting a condo for the week for the family members that she's bringing out. I'm not sure of the financial details, but you may feel to contact me after I get the details from her, it just takes a while to get through to my mom.
Arranging blocks of rooms can be a good idea, especially if you're having your ceremony at that particular hotel. They often discount the rooms as part of the wedding package. They often provide a wedding planner for the couple, too.
Another solution is to see if those who do have time shares here will put up those who do. Keep in mind that most hotels hike up their rates in June in order to cash in on the lucrative bridal season. Weekly stays like Budget Suites, Extended Stay, Alexis Park, or Crestwood Suites can be useful.
By the way, I've lived here a while and I've never heard of Henderson Street either, just the Henderson some of my friends live in…

Has anyone stayed in one of these rooms? If so, are they any good? More importantly, where exactly in the hotel are they? I can't see them on their map. I read some reviews of rooms in the West Wing etc. of this hotel and people were complaining of a 10-15 walk to get out of the hotel. Are the Bungalow suites located any closer?

I have stayed in these suites some are a long walk from the lifts some are not, when I was there last and I asked for one on a high floor but I was told that most of the suites were on the lower floors but this may have been just to shut me up. I dont think that there are any on the west wing though.

Word of warning though just because you book a King Bungalow suite it does not mean that is what you will get it will depend whats available on check in. We booked a Hollywood suite for our honey moon and it was not availabke so we go a given a spa suite instead, my parents had booked a queen bungalow and got a king, other frineds booked a King non smoking room got Queen smoking.

people say that the seafood buffet is really good at rio suites hotel and i'd like to try it, but i'm staying at caesar's palace and there's a highway between them (looks like it on google maps; but i also see another street under the highway).

also, i keep on hearing people talk about a $50 buffet in las vegas that has EVERYTHING and ANYTHING that you'd ever want to eat. where is it and what do they have that's out of the ordinary?

"Bobby B" gave you the best way to get from Caesars Palace to Rio. All of the hotels down by Rio have free shuttles, you could take the Palms or Gold Coast shuttle to and then walk across the street.

The Sterling Brunch at Bally's is $75 now and while it is quite a spread you can eat almost as well for $35 at Circus Circus, the CC brunch is the only reason anyone over the age of 12 should ever go to CC lol

The Carnival World Buffet at Rio is NOT the buffet it was 10-15 years ago when it was the best in LV. You can do so much better for your $$

IMO these are the best "value" buffets in LV

Green Valley Ranch - Lunch
Silverton - Lunch
LV Hilton - Dinner
Mirage - Dinner
Fremont - Seafood Buffet - Sun/Tue/Fri
