Hi, my guy and I are going to be spending a week in Vegas the week of March 2nd-9th and are looking for a hotel on the Strip. We want something decent, but not fancy, as we aren't rich by any means and would rather spend that money gambling 
We are looking to spend no more than $500 for the week including taxes for the room. I am wondering what hotel anyone can reccommend from experience? Friendly service, great food/casino, nice rooms, etc. Thanks!
my wife and I like Imperial Palace, It's not pricy, just about center strip, and not too crowded.
Sure it's not the nicest by any means, but it is not the worst either. saves you money, and actually has a free car show you can go to as well a legends show which is a bunch of singer imposters doing a show. The buffett is no good, but there is a little burger joint which is good, or just go to any of the other near by casinos. Harrahs and flamingop are right next door and ceasars is right across the street. Also another plus is the tram has a stop that is located right behind imperial so it makes it fast and easy to get on and off and where you want to go quickly.
